STORY
Cole Porter’s Anything Goes tells the story of Billy Crocker, a young Wall Street broker, who stows away on the S.S. American, in the hope of winning the heart of his beloved Hope Harcourt. Hope is travelling to England to be married to Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, a hapless British nobleman.Also aboard are a disguised Moonface Martin, a gangster labeled "Public Enemy 13", and sexy gangster’s moll, Erma. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney is also on board and resolves to help Billy win over Hope. Billy simultaneously learns the true identities of Moonface and Erma who join the plot to break up Hope and Evelyn for his silence.
With classic songs such as I Get A Kick Out Of You, You’re The Top, It’s De-Lovely, Friendship, All Through The Night and Anything Goes strung together by an hilarious comedy of errors, there's a highly entertaining night aboard the magical ship where ANYTHING GOES!
